Eta Kappa Chapter at Northeastern University

Kappa Delta

Our Officers

Vieno Carter

President

As President, I oversee our chapter and work with each of our nine Council members, as well as our advisors locally and nationally, to support our sisters on campus. I'm in my fourth year at Northeastern, studying international affairs and political science and minoring in Arabic. I'm from midcoast Maine and I love being outdoors, hanging out with my dog, and eating Chinese food. I'm so excited for my second term on council and all that 2017 will bring.

Gabbi Dos Ramos

Vice President-Member Education

Hi, my name is Gabbi and I am a Junior studying Marketing and Graphic Design. In my free time I love to cook, workout and spend too much time shopping. I am excited to hold the position of Eta Kappa’s Member Educator this year! I love this position because I get to work closely with all of our new members and teach the chapter more about Kappa Delta.

Becca Peng

Vice President-Membership

My name is Becca Peng and I'm so humbled to be serving on Eta Kappa's next council. My job as Vice President-Membership is organizing recruitment to help the next group of women find their home within our chapter. Throughout the year, I also make sure morale is always high by creating fun and exciting opportunities for our sisterhood to flourish. I love everything Kappa Delta stands for and I'm proud to be part of an organization that inspires me to be a better person every day. My happy place is in my king-sized bed with a good cup of coffee.

Natalie Navarro

Vice President-Operations

Hi!! My name is Natalie Navarro. I am a Political Science major from Tampa, FL. I currently serve as VP-Operations of Eta Kappa. As VP-Ops, I guide the chapter in achieving our recruitment, sisterhood, and campus prestige goals. I ensure the chapter runs smoothly by managing the calendar and appointed officer positions. I am very excited for this upcoming year, and I am honored to help this chapter strive for what is most honorable, beautiful, and highest!

Romane Mauge

Vice President-Community Service

I'm so thrilled to be Eta Kappa's VP Community Service! As the VPCS, I organize our yearly Shamrock events along with our semester Girl Scout events and cookie sales! I encourage sisters to get involved in community service within Northeastern, whether that be FSL or non FSL events or Relay for Life as well as community service throughout the greater Boston area!

Mia Aldrich

Vice President-Public Relations

As Vice President of Public Relations, I have the incredible job of representing and promoting Eta Kappa Chapter of Kappa Delta at Northeastern University. As a junior, I felt it was my time to give back to Eta Kappa, as it has given so much to me in the past year, and I thought what better way to give back then to serve on council. My love for photography and the women of this chapter inspire me as VP of PR. I jumped at the opportunity of getting to represent such an inspiring and unique group of women not only on Northeastern's campus, but to the greater network of friends, parents, and alumnae that are connected to Eta Kappa. Some of my duties include enhancing relationships between our chapter and other greek chapters on our campus, communicating with National Kappa Delta, and encouraging a positive partnership between our chapter and the Northeastern community. I look forward to the upcoming year and all the wonderful things that will come with it!

Maddie Crowley

Vice President-Standards

I'm Maddie and I have the pleasure of serving as VP-Standards for my chapter. I love my position because I'm able to be a resource for sisters in need. I'm proud to ensure the safety and wellbeing of each sister as well as the chapter as a whole. Outside of Kappa Delta, you'll most likely find me in my nursing scrubs working at a local hospital or in my bathing suit on the beach, two of my favorite things to do!

Mikaela Metzendorf

Vice President Finance

I am so excited to serve on council 2017 as the VP- Finance for the Eta Kappa chapter of Kappa Delta. My position involves creating an efficient budget, communicating with other committees about the budget, paying bills, and assisting the chapter members financially. Outside of Kappa Delta, I enjoy my free time knitting bulky scarves and running for miles along the Charles River.

Emily Durfee

Secretary

I’m so excited to serve as Eta Kappa’s secretary for 2017! I’m in charge of the lovely efficiency calendar and sending out chapter minutes each week. Besides my addiction to The Office, I spend my (lack of) free time dancing with NUDANCO and working at Vineyard Vines.

Rachele Rosiello

Panhellenic Delegate

Hey guys! I’m Rachele and I am the Panhellenic Delegate for Eta Kappa. It is my job to be the liaison between Kappa Delta and the Panhellenic community as well as encourage my sisters to attend other chapters’ events on campus. In my free time you can catch me either running and/or exploring the streets of Boston (I’m pretty obsessed with both).
